However, The Bougie Bar experience extends beyond candle making! Explore our meticulously curated Bougie Boutique, where you'll find the perfect gift or a little indulgence for yourself. Our store welcomes you Wednesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Join us in making moments and memories at The Bougie Bar.

The Bougie Bar is owned and operated by candle experts, Jamie and Rusty Phillips. It’s a place to have fun, sip wine, and make the perfect candle with your friends or family!

Jamie fell in love with the art of candle making back in 2008, where he made and sold homemade candles in 8 oz. mason jars. From there, he opened his first candle business at the early age of 18, named Ambiance Candle Company. He eventually re-branded to Bourbon Royalty Candle Company in 2013.

Over the years, Jamie and Rusty were asked by friends and family if they could host private parties at the Bourbon Royalty warehouse. They both had a vision for a future candle-making party experience and knew there was no place like it in Lafayette or even Louisiana! After some consideration, The Bougie Bar was officially born! 

Jamie and Rusty are so excited to give the people of Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and surrounding areas a new, fun, and exciting experience!
